Absolutely - mine are in the ground and a couple of years old and have really filled out. They appear much “bluer” this year but it’s a bit shady where they are and they will then fade to a much softer paler blue with age - and thankful for something as the tulips go over and the bit hit of colour abates for a couple of months 💙💙💙
Oh yes, I know that one (the new/second hand car, flat broke, want more plants budget) that was me last summer. It'll be worth every penny, though, I swear.
What fabulous, breathless writing. Loved it. 😊
Thank you so much, Sue ❤️
Lucy!!! ‘If I die in May…’ should be a poem. Beautiful xx
Adding to my list for next year!
And mine ...
You’ve twisted my arm, I’m going to eagerly hunt some of this Phlox down this weekend!

Is it flowering early for you Lucy?
I think so, Rachel. It’s my first time having it but from what I’ve seen online these are very early.
Cribbs Causeway, I hear you
Oh god. It wasn’t even busy. But it was terrible.
Yup
Oops. I just ordered a pot…
I would, but I have quite a full garden, and very empty bank account…. New (second hand) car….
This one will go by our Choza, where we sit.

V, get a few. Or is it a 1 or 2 litre? If it's a 9cm, get a few more. I'm concerned you won't have enough.
It’s 1 litre. Should make a bit of a statement!
Oh *excellent*! Yes, that'll do it!!
❤️❤️❤️
I think I have spotted your Lizard tulips lurking behind the phlox - they're magnificent!
